17 September 2024 - We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 7th consecutive "Samuhik Kumari Puja" at Phasikeba Marga. Following the age-old Newar tradition of worshiping Kumari to ward off disease and calamity, we had the honor of worshiping 108 young Kumaris. 1 Jube 2024 - 1 June 2024 -Club Phasikeba organized an awareness orientation and sensitization program on the physical, mental, and family issues arising from hormonal changes in women after menopause.
In the program, Dr. Amila Shrestha provided informative advice, suggestions, and solutions regarding the identification and management of physical, mental, and family problems caused by hormonal changes before and after menopause. As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Shrestha has been raising public awareness through such training programs, keeping public health and well-being in mind.
Club Phasikeba President Prajwalman Shakya highlighted the significance of the program. The event was conducted by the club’s Joint Secretary Amrit Kaji Shakya, while Anjila Sthapit coordinated the program.
28 September 2023 - On Wednesday, September 28, 2023, Club Phasikeba accomplished its sixth consecutive "Samuhik Kumari Puja" event with great success. Just like the previous year, we had the participation of 108 children, and we are grateful to all those who contributed to the seamless and trouble-free execution of the program

13 Sept 2019 - The practice of worshiping young prepubescent girl 'Kumari' has long been practiced in the Newar community. It is believed that worshiping Kumari will prevent disease and calamity. According to the same belief, 108 Kumaris (in the age group of two to eight years) have been worshiped at the Ranjana Trade Center premises in Newroad, Kathmandu on Friday 13 September 2019. Participants in the puja were also given cash, fruits, clothes and food. Club Phasikeba has been performing Kanya Puja on every Indra Jatra to inform the next generation about Kumari Puja and to continue the religious and cultural tradition. Former Kumari Miss Manita Shakya was also felicitated on the occasion.
19 June 2019 - Club Phasikeba participated in anti-government protest on 19 June 2019 demanding scrapping of a controversial bill that sought to nationalize private and public trusts meant for running the cultural activities and temple affairs, a day after the Nepal government withdrew it following intense protests by the ethnic Newar community.

25 Aug 2018 -Due to the extensive use by loader vehicles overtime, the west section of the road of Phasikeba Marg (from Well to Bhuji Bahal) was in poor condition for quite some time. At the initiative of Club Phasikeba, the paving of stone has reached the final stage. For this work, all source resources have been made available from the Office of Ward 24. We'd like to thank all the local businessmen, trade association, local residents, Tole Reform Committees for their support, coordination and engagement. Another chapter has been added to the beauty of Phasikeba Tole. We wish this beauty to remain firm until the ages.
25 Aug 2018 - In the past, the route from Peepal Bot, Newroad - Ranjana Galli - Ranjana Trade Center to Pyukha was established as one-way. But in the last few years, it had been operating as two-way. This has been reversed once again.
On Saturday, August 18, with the active participation from Traffic Police, Police & members of the club, Sign Boards poles (provided by Traffic Police) were erected properly. We hope that local residents, will be keen on its protection and promotion.
11 Aug 2018 - Considering the risk of sewer drain blockage in Phasikeba Marg and its potential health hazard, the inspection and maintenance of manhole was carried out with the help from Kathmandu Municipality. The cleaning was initiated by Club phasikeba with the recommendation from Ward-22 Office, which also assured us of providing Suction Machine in case it is needed.
5 June 2018 - In response to the enthusiasm of the youth in futsal , Club Phasikeba Club organizes Futsal Tournaments from time to time on different venues around Kathmandu in hope to promote values such as teamwork and good sportsmanship, as well as to allow guys to express their talents and skills.
